La Rue

A traditional Belgian house with high ceilings, elaborate mouldings, and marble fireplaces in every room.

We started from the beginning: reorganising the five floors from top to bottom, defining each space, and understanding how the house was lived in. Only then did colour arrive—the most honest response to Belgium’s grey skies. Each room received its dominant hue, dispelling the gloom and bringing light back into the interior.
